Get Creative builds software, websites, marketing and AI systems for businesses, and runs our own products. This website describes that work, publishes our blog and lets you contact us, book a call or join our newsletter.
This policy explains what information we collect when you use get-creative.co and intentionallycreative.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the choices you have. It is written to be read, so it starts with the short version.
The short version
- What we collect: what you send us through forms, work contact details of businesses we may offer our services to and how you use our websites, through cookies and Lens, our own visit recorder.
- Why: to run Get Creative, keep it secure, answer you, and make it better.
- Advertising: our agency website uses advertising tags from Meta and Google to measure our ads, and loads them only after you allow advertising. Under some US state laws that counts as "sharing" for targeted advertising. You can opt out in Your privacy choices, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out.
- Your choices: you can ask to see, correct, download or delete your information. Visitors in Europe are asked first. Before they answer, Lens, our own visit recorder, counts the visit with nothing that identifies them, and nothing else optional runs until they agree. Global Privacy Control is honored everywhere.

1. Who we are
Get Creative is operated by Intentionally Creative LLC, a New York limited liability company ("Get Creative", "we", "us"), at 4465 E Genesee St., Syracuse, New York 13214, United States.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers get-creative.co and intentionallycreative.com. It does not cover other companies' sites or services, even when we link to them.

We do not ask for sensitive information such as health details, government ID numbers or precise location.
4. How we use it
We use your information to:
- provide Get Creative, operate your account and do what you ask
- answer your questions and requests
- keep Get Creative and our users safe, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems
- understand how Get Creative is used and improve it, mostly with Lens and with aggregated information
- send our newsletter and updates you signed up for, and measure our advertising
- contact businesses that may want our services, with an easy way to opt out
- comply with the law and enforce our terms
Legal bases (Europe, the UK and Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on these legal bases:

5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information for money. We do share limited website data with advertising platforms, described below, and you can opt out. We share information only in these cases:
- Service providers that host, send, process or secure information for us under contracts that limit what they may do with it. The list is in Service Providers and Subprocessors.
- Advertising platforms (our agency website only, after you allow advertising). The Meta pixel and Google advertising tags receive information about your visit, such as the pages you view and an identifier their cookies set, so we can measure our ads and show them to people likely to be interested. This is "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under several US state laws. Opt out in Your privacy choices.
- Legal reasons. When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and property of you, us or others.
- Business changes. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may move to the new owner, who must honor this policy.
- With your consent in any other case.
6. Cookies, local storage and Lens
We use a small number of cookies and browser storage items. Necessary ones keep the site working and remember your choices. Analytics and advertising ones help us understand visits and measure our ads. The full list, with how long each lasts, is in our Cookie Policy.
Lens, our own visit recorder. Lens shows us how people use get-creative.co and where it gets in their way. It records the pages you open, where you click, how far you scroll, how long you look at parts of the page, how fast pages load, errors, the kind of device and browser you use, the site that sent you and any campaign tags in the link, and a replay of the page as you saw it. Anything you type into a field is hidden in your browser before it is sent. Lens uses your IP address only to block abuse, does not store it with your visit, and never sells or shares what it records.
- Ids it keeps in your browser: a random visitor id, and a visit id that joins the pages of one visit and is replaced after 30 minutes without activity.
- How long: replays are deleted after 90 days, and the record of pages and clicks drawn from a visit after 400 days.
- Linking to you: a visit is linked to you only after you submit a form on the site (for example a sign-up, a contact form or a quote step) or book a call from a link on it, and then only by a one-way fingerprint of your email address or the id of what you submitted or booked.
- Your choices: if you decline analytics, Lens deletes its ids from your browser and from then on sends nothing. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, Lens sends nothing at all. Visitors in Europe are asked first, and until they answer, Lens keeps no ids, records no replay, never links the visit to them and only counts it with nothing that identifies them.
7. Emails from us
We send emails about your account and the service you use. If you join our newsletter we send it until you unsubscribe; every issue has a one-click unsubscribe link.
8. How long we keep it

Backups. We keep encrypted backups so we can recover from a failure. Information you delete is removed from our live systems as described above but can remain in these backups, where nobody uses it. If we ever restore from a backup, we delete again anything that had been deleted.
9. How we protect it
- Connections to our sites and apps are encrypted (HTTPS), and our backups are encrypted.
- Each customer's data is kept apart by access rules in the database, our team's access is limited to the people who need it, and access to sensitive records such as visit replays is logged.
- Passwords are never stored in plain text; many of our sign-ins use one-time email codes instead of passwords.
- Payment card numbers are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
10. Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- see the personal information we hold about you, and get a copy in a portable format;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- stop marketing emails and texts (use the unsubscribe link or reply STOP);
- opt out of sharing for targeted advertising;
- withdraw consent you gave, at any time, without affecting what we did before.
How to ask: email support@get-creative.co from the address you use with us. We confirm who you are before we act, answer within 30 days (45 days where US state law allows), and do not charge for it. You can use an authorized agent; we will ask the agent for your signed permission and may ask you to confirm your identity. If we decline a request, we explain why and you can appeal by replying to our answer; we answer appeals within 45 days.
We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
Your privacy choices
- Cookies and analytics: open "Cookie settings" in the footer of get-creative.co at any time.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends it, we treat it as a request to opt out of sharing for targeted advertising and of optional analytics on that browser.
- Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: choose "Your privacy choices" in the footer and turn off advertising, or email us. We never sell personal information for money.
US state privacy rights
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia and other states with privacy laws have the rights above as those laws describe them, including the right to know the categories of information we collect, the sources, the purposes and who receives it, and the right to limit the use of sensitive information (we do not use sensitive information for anything that requires that choice).
California notice at collection. In the last 12 months we collected these categories of personal information, for the purposes in section 4, from the sources in section 3, and disclosed them for business purposes to the recipients in section 5:

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. California residents may also ask, once a year, whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their direct marketing; we do not.
Europe, the UK and Switzerland
Intentionally Creative LLC is the controller of the information this policy covers. You have the rights in section 10, plus the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests and to complain to your local data protection authority. We would like the chance to help first, so please write to us.
11. Where your information is processed
We are based in the United States. Our servers are in the United States (Ashburn, Virginia), file and recording storage is in Germany, and our service providers work mainly in the United States. When information moves from Europe, the UK or Switzerland to the United States, we rely on the safeguards the law provides, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses in our providers' data processing terms.
12. Children
Get Creative is not for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we tell you before it takes effect, by email or a notice in the site. Earlier versions are available on request.
